pollen haze
Pollen season – nature’s lusty and dusty time of reproduction.
As a Covid long-hauler with chronic illness, this lusty and dusty springtime is tough on my body. Sinus pressure, congestion, fatigue, fever, and more bombard me the moment I go outside.
I generally feel like a pollen zombie.
And yet, I look for the laughter.
So while I started with considering myself as a pollen zombie, zombies aren’t really my thing. So I found a different example, just for a pollen chuckle. [scroll down]
Pollen haze all in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I sneeze the sky
Pollen haze all around
Don't know if I'm comin' up or down
I ain’t happy; I’m in misery
What ever it is, that dust put an ill on me
Help me… Oh no
Ooh, ahh… Yeah
Pollen haze all in my eyes
Can’t breathe that well, day or night
Sinuses blowin', blowin’ my mind
Is it tomorrow or just the end of time?
