Skyeris (she/they) has been a sinistral, spitfire creatrix their entire life. Voice too loud, hair too unruly, spirit too wild—all of which they’re happy to claim.
A neurodivergent synesthete, she has always explored & dwelt in liminal spaces, marginalia, & borderlands, which are most natural to her innate curiosity & love of diversity. She has lived & traveled abroad for many years, for both study & work.
Skyeris lives a life of eclectic & ecstatic passion. Her purpose is to use her voice—to share her creative expressions & activate sacred spaces. A lifelong vocalist & wordsmith, she deftly wields sound & language in various webs & weavings. Likewise, music is her magic & her medicine. She fosters connection & consciousness in every encounter.
In no particular order, she is also a wanderer, ritualist, speaker, creative, yoga practitioner, lover, thinker, rape survivor, reader, dancer. She also lives with an invisible, chronic illness.
In the visible realms & beyond, she skillfully bridges the sacred & the mundane. She grounds spirit into matter; she transduces matter into spirit.
Their personal practice has evolved out of intensive study of various traditions around embodiment & consciousness. These influences inform their approach to everything.
Social justice is inherent to everything they do. Skyeris is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging. Those are inherent in their offerings & in their professional structure. They are always learning & evolving. They strive to hold spaces that allow & encourage deep reflection, accountability, & potent transformation around racism, misogyny, xenophobia, violence to LGBTQIA, & other social justice issues. Your sincere exploration is welcome. Vehement attachment to oppressive structures or denial of their existence is not. Let’s co-create a better world.
